Westcountry Minis

WCM are a local group out to have fun. You maximise being a part of it by coming along to our organised meets and events and meeting in person. We pride ourselves on getting out there and doing stuff, and as such we get together on the second Saturday of every month for our main run and meet, and in the summer months have at least another run every month.

To make this a success, we always need new ideas from you all to make this happen. Do you know of a great little venue near you that could accommodate us? Have a favourite driving road in the area? Then get in touch and make it happen. Primarily based in Bristol, Glos, Wilts and Somerset, we are prepared to spread out further - We LOVE a drive, and anything is possible.

WCM do NOT charge a membership fee. It is entirely up to individuals how much time they can commit to the club. When we need something we ask for donations. Last year the members funded a new event shelter. To be formally 'in' you need to put your contact details in the membership book, which will be at every meet.

We have a core of members who commit a whole bunch of time to making the club what it is today, and I take every opportunity to thank them - there is always a whole bunch of stuff that needs doing to keep momentum so every new volunteer is welcome - join us for a chat at the next meet.

For every meet or event you attend with WCM, you will get an entry into a draw at the end of the year - this is for a goodie bag stuffed with items picked up at all the shows and venues we attend. The more events and meets you come to, the better chance you have of winning. If you want to pick something up to drop in the bag, again you can do this at a local meet.

As a club we also provide a public service. If we are invited to shows, fetes, carnivals etc then we are there to act professionally and offer our service - usually to show off our cars to the public and promote the scene. For 2019, we will also be helping with the International Mini Meet held in the area.
